2019 Annual Membership Meeting

The first annual membership meeting is June 8, 2019, from noon to 3 p.m., in the north picnic shelter at Bramble Park Zoo. Please bring a dish to pass and your own service (plates, utensils, glasses, drinks).
The annual membership meeting is required by state law, and the board chose the second Saturday in June as the designated date each year. It provides a regularly scheduled time for the board to report to the members about what's happening with the market.
Board Elections
Elections for the first official board will be held at the annual membership meeting, in keeping with the market's bylaws. If you're interested in becoming more involved with making the market a reality, please consider running for one of the seven board positions.
Write a brief statement (two to three sentences maximum) about why you believe it's important to have a food co-op here.
For this election only, the elected board members will be randomly chosen to serve a one-, two-, or three-year term, so that the board will only have a turnover of two or three new directors each following year.
